SampleScience releases free Stylo Synthesis virtual instrument SampleScience has announced the release of a free virtual recreation of the stylophone portable organ from the ’60s.
Most stylophone plugins and libraries use very short samples that don’t reflect the unstable nature of this instrument. For Stylo Synthesis, each note has been sampled for 5 seconds to capture these magic imperfections. The result is the most accurate stylophone emulation, preserving the attack and sustain of the original instrument. 1 multi-sampled instrument. 1 sample per note. Multi-LFO. Room reverb. Lowpass/highpass filter. Low-CPU usage. Amplitude range controls. 3 voice modes: polyphonic, monophonic, and legato. The plugin is available in VST/VST3 and AU formats for Windows and macOS.
