Cool WAV launches Drum8 free drum rompler VST/AU instrument Cool WAV has announced the release of a free drum rompler instrument in collaboration with Audiolatry. Drum8 is sample-based plugin featuring a collection of 40 kits with a total of 320 sounds designed for Hip Hop, Trap, Pop, R&B, and Lo-fi.
The sounds were sourced from two hardware analog drum machines and acoustic drum modeling software, processed with the Radial JDI passive direct box into a Warm Audio TB12 Tone Beast Black for analog warmth and saturation. Drum8 VST features Includes kicks, snares, claps, hi hats, rims, percs, cymbals, fx. New original samples, no recycled sounds. 100% royalty free. 8 pads each with a built-in choke function to prevent bleeding (closed + open Hi Hats also choke each other). Individual gain, attack, and pan controls. Global gain, low-pass filter, and reverb with volume meter. MIDI notes conveniently located from C1 to G1 for quick drum programming (will show up as C3 to G3 in FL Studio Piano Roll).
