The most recent project is a replica/clone of the Pearl Syncussion SY-1, an analog drum Synthesizer from the late 1970s. I published news about this new project in July. Today the Behringer social media team announced that the Syncussion SY-1 replica is ready for production.
Behringer Syncussion production Behringer Syncussion Production Update Like the original, it will have 6 oscillator modes per channel and is capable of creating a wide range of sounds. From the classic 70’s disco “peeoww” to tight bells, thunderous Kick drums and Gnarly Bass sounds. Half a year after the announcement, the product is ready for production. It is not yet known when it will be available from international dealers. The current chip shortage has resulted in delivery bottlenecks and longer waiting times. But according to the Facebook post, Behringer has secured the chips for production.
