The New Hybrid Rhythms was launched in 2017 as an updated version of 8Dio’s original ‘Hybrid Rhythms.’ And now, you can get this sweet Kontakt library for free! The New Hybrid Rhythms comes with 950 samples that span a massive range of grooves, perfect for cinematic compositions. The grooves are recorded at 80, 90, 100, 110, 120, 130, and 140 BPM, so you have a full range of tempos to fit your song. You also get stem files for the grooves, so you can mix and match them to your taste. And there are more than 40 custom convolution reverbs and impulses you can apply. One of the best and most valuable features 8Dio has included is their CHAOS FX engine. This allows you to instantly stack, randomize, reverse, or ‘chaos’ several hundred parameters at once. It’s a quick gateway to new sounds and experimentation, with the possibility of adjusting 1,500 parameters in one click. You also have a range of onboard FX here – an ARP sequencer, Delay, Degrader (Bit Crusher), EQ, Filter, and two different types of convolution reverbs (which includes a Transform effect).
