Neumann KH 750 AES67: Your gateway to Audio-over-IP Neumann has introduced the KH 750 AES67 subwoofer. And the name tells you exactly what it is: It’s a KH 750 that has been fitted with connectors for the AES67 audio-over-IP standard. This means that you can use it to address your entire monitoring system over the network. The future is now! Neumann KH 750 AES67 Networked audio isn’t just for live sound and commercial installations anymore – it’s also quickly transforming recording and broadcasting studios. With the new KH 750 AES67 subwoofer, Neumann provides an interface between your monitor speakers and the network. With the exception of the new network connectors, the subwoofer is exactly the same as the regular KH 750. This also means that it’s compatible with Neumann’s software-driven Automatic Monitor Alignment, which helps you to make all the necessary room compensation adjustments for your entire monitoring system. Via the AES67 interface, the subwoofer serves to connect your Neumann KH series monitors to the network. This includes the KH 120, KH 310, KH 420 and the DSP-powered KH 80 DSP. Neumann KH 750 AES67 The dual network connectors ensure compatibility with broadcasting standards such as ST 2110, as well as Dante-generated AES67 network streams. Neumann says that this setup ensures a lossless, redundant audio routing all the way to the speakers. You can add additional subwoofers for larger systems. Everything else is the same as on the non-networking KH 750. You get two analog XLR inputs and outputs, as well as digital AES3 and S/PDIF inputs. The 10-inch long excursion driver with ELFF (‘Extremely Linear Force Factor’) is also the same. The MA 1 Automatic Monitor Alignment software is available for macOS and Windows and takes care of any room compensation issues.
