The new Electro-Harmonix String9 pedal features as the name suggest 9 different string sounds. Each one is based somewhat on classic synths and their naming points toward what to expect from each preset. With a similar control layout to the rest of the 9 Series pedals, it should be easy enough to use. Electro-Harmonix String9 Controls The controls consist of a Volume section with Dry and Wet effect levels, plus two control knobs labelled CTRL 1 and 2 that you use to tweak patch parameters. The final control is white and selects one of the 9 different synth string presets.
