Thanks for this. And yes there is a new iOS app. It comes from Ryo Togawa (RT Music Software), the maker of the VAMono Synthesizer and other solid music production apps. For his new release VADrum2 he was inspired by famous drum machines (TR-808, TR-909…) from the past. vadrum2 RT Music Software VADrum2 VADrum2 is a new versatile drum machine for iOS (iPhone, iPad, macOS) consisting of 27 different drum voices. The drum generation part includes 23 analog-modeling modules that are inspired by the iconic analog drum machines of the 1980′ (TR-808, 909…). Plus, you get 4 sample playback slots. Then, it comes with an effects section including delay, chorus, flanger, reverb, EQ, and compressor. The sounds can be triggered manually with drum pads or with a sequencer. The latter allows you to program 16 patterns per clip and you can have up to 16 clips. It also gives you the ability to automate parameters. VADrum2 runs as either as a standalone drum machine app or AUv3 plugin in your favorite iOS DAW host. The standalone version supports Ableton Link, Bluetooth MIDI, and MIDI In/Out. You can also export your sounds in a linear PCM format (AIFF, WAV, CAF) or in a compressed version (AAC).
